In 2023, Jake Fauber approached Ethan Seay with the idea of a specific pedal circuit that wasn't currently available on the market. Ethan, with no prior experience with building pedals, very quickly learned from the ground up how to build and modify guitar effects. The goal for Tone Ranger is to deliver products and solutions for players, designed by players. The much anticipated Prickly Pear Preamp V2 is expected to release later this year.
